Our Classrooms
|
AIEC is a school especially designed for young children to learn socially with developed motor skills. The Toddler class is designed to prepare the young twos for preschool readiness. Preschool is divided into two appropriate age groups.
The Preschool class and the Pre-Kinder class, the Preschool class is for children ages 3 to 4 and our Pre-K class is for children ages 4 to 5. Age does not necessary applied according the child’s individual needs.
The Kindergarten /1st & 2nd grade is a combined class. Older children are able to take more instruction.
These groups allow teachers to interact with their children individually so to maximize a child's academic and social skills. It also allows the teachers to attend to special emotional needs, creative exploration and fosters a passion for learning while making it fun. All classrooms offer creative arts, language arts, science and nature, music and movement, math, health, and international cultural experiences.

Natural Environment Surrounding Our School
|
 The school is located in Tokyo Prefecture Fussa City Minami Den-en, near the Tamagawa Chuo Kouen (Tama River Central Park). This central park environment provides opportunities for children to explore and interact in safe conditions. We share these huge grounds with the community where many annual activities take place. A free parking area, BBQ area, an athletic field with restrooms, walking course are available for everyone to use. A natural surroundings is a must for children to experience the four seasons of Japan.

Teachers and Staff Qualification
|

Every staff is CPR and first aid safety certified. Children's safety will not be compromised. |
|
Teachers are certified as Early Childhood Educators. |
|
AIEC’s training system for teachers are according to NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) standards. |
|
Assistant or substitute teachers are required to have experience in Early Childhood Education and will also receive special training to meet our classroom’s needs. |
Teachers and staff are selected by AIEC without relation to ethnic group or nationality. Teachers must have a passion for teaching. AIEC reserves the right to replace a teacher in the interest of the children. |
